Hello,

I’m Spyros. Engineer, Research Scientist and Curious Innovator.

I spend most of my time working on Nuclear Fusion research, focusing on the Instrumentation and the Control of Fusion Plasmas. I worked on Joint European Torus (JET), and now I work with the team of Spherical Tokamak for Energy Productions (STEP).With a background in computers and electronics, I work on cybernetics, complex dynamical systems, machine learning and mathematical modelling. Recently, I founded Complexity Cybernetics to diffuse the know-how I have developed in fusion cybernetics towards other industries.

Projects I'm working on

Cybernetics of Complex Systems

My research interests focus on the Cybernetics of Complex Systems. My company, Complexity Cybernetics, offers innovative solutions to complex problems in areas such as:

  • Nuclear Fusion

  • Industry 4.0

  • Smart Agriculture

If you are interested visit the website of Complexity Cybernetics.

Nuclear Fusion

I am a strong advocate of Nuclear Fusion, and for the last 14 years, I have been working on both cold and fusion plasmas. If you are interested in my work on Fusion, take a look at my publications.

My hobbies

Robotic Sports

A robotics enthusiast and passionate about building things. For the last few years, I have been coaching the local robotics team, Vatikiotis, and I'm also contributing to the activities of the Hellenic Federation of Robotics and Technology Sports.
